Which disciplines are covered by the Oxford Journals online collection?

We publish journals from science, technical, professional, medical, humanities, arts and social science disciplines.

Are all Oxford journals available online?

There is a full list of titles available at Oxford Journals.

How far back online does online content go?

Online content for most journals is now available from Volume 1, Issue 1. Pre-1996 content is available via our Online Archives. Online content from 1996 onwards will be available with current subscriptions. The BJA: British Journal of Anaesthesia is an exception to this as content from 1995 onwards is available with a current subscription and pre-1995 content is available via the Medicine Archive.

I want access to one article only. How do I do this?

If you do not hold a subscription to a particular journal title then you may order single articles online via pay-per-view links provided from our titles at Ingenta.

Pay-per-view articles are also available for our STM and social science titles hosted by HighWire Press (details can be found on individual article web pages for these journals).

Individual print copies may also be ordered via document supply services such as the British Library.

Alternatively, we can supply you with the complete issue in which the article appeared, if it is from the current or previous 2 volumes. Contact us at Journals Customer Services.
